Franklin Park/ Chariton Dog Park
Franklin Park is located on the corner of North 16th St. and Franklin Avenue in Chariton. Chariton Dog Park In July 2019, the Chariton Dog Park opened to the public. This project was driven by a group of volunteers called the Chariton Dog Park Initiative. Their efforts raised awareness and funding for the start of a dog park. This included adding the fencing for small and large dogs to play freely. They are continually working on adding items.
